This is a RUF “Yellow bird” on the Nürburgring. I found this clip linked on the Hill Country Region Porshce Club website. If you’re on a Mac try the free Flip4Mac plugin for Quicktime. It allows you to view Windows Media files with the Quicktime Player.

This video has been passed around the station for years.  It’s a shot of Gilbert standing in for lighting on a Clark Wilson Homes campaign shot by Vance Holmes circa 1996.  Notice the graphic created by a Dubner 30k in our old Grass Valley Super Edit Suite.  For all you youngsters out there, that means editing with four beta decks and an edit controller on actual video tape using an E.D.L.

Bonita Sarita and I went to the Austin City Limits taping of the New Orleans Social Club last night. There was hardly a line.  The show was awesome.
